Minat Puja Bakti Remaja Buddhis Vihara Sakya Wijaya Desa Tri Rahayu, Kabupaten Pesawaran

Abstract

The problems studied in this study were caused by the unknown interest in Puja Bakti Buddhist Youth at Vihara Sakya Wijaya Tri Rahayu Village, Pesawaran Regency because as Buddhists, especially teenagers, they must obey in carrying out worship services because it is one of the obligations that must be carried out as religious people. In addition, by carrying out worship properly, you will get benefits for yourself. This study aims to find out how the interest of youth worship at Vihara Sakya Wijaya, Tri Rahayu Village, Pesawaran Regency.This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Sources of data in this study are the Buddhist youth of Sakya Wijaya Vihara. Data collection techniques are by means of interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that adolescents already have an interest in performing worship services at the monastery because most of the youth already understand the benefits of carrying out worship services at the monastery. But teenagers are also often still dominated by a sense of laziness when they are going to do worship at the monastery. This feeling of laziness is caused by various factors, both from within themselves and from environmental factors. And to eliminate the feeling of laziness so as to increase the interest in worship at the monastery, the youth do various ways such as the need for encouragement and motivation from others and from themselves. In addition, the monastery also participated in developing the interest of youth devotional worship in the monastery.
